Mr. Brennan A. Colvard is the Director of Bands at Circleville High School and is in his second year of teaching. He took leadership of the program in June of 2024. His teaching responsibilities include directing the Concert Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, teaching beginner guitar classes, and co-teaching 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade Band at Circleville Middle School. 

Prior to his appointment as Director of Bands, Mr. Colvard served as the Assistant Band Director at Circleville High School for the 2023-2024 school year. Mr. Colvard holds a Bachelors of Music Education degree from The Ohio State University. While at Ohio State, he studied classical saxophone under Dr. Michael Rene Torres and completed his student teaching with Mr. Greg Benson at Pickerington High School North. He also performed with the OSU Symphonic Band at the 2023 Ohio Music Education Association Professional Development Conference and with the OSU Saxophone Ensemble the following year. Mr. Colvard was a member of the Grove City High School Band, under the direction of Mr. Jason Graham and served as a Field Commander/Saxophone Instructor from 2021-2023. Mr. Colvard is a member of the National Association for Music Education and the Ohio Music Education Association. In his free time, Mr. Colvard enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and playing with his dog, Appa. He lives in Grove City, Ohio. 

Mr. Mark Schoenbeck began his teaching career with Circleville City Schools over 20 years ago. Originally from Brunswick, Ohio, Mr. Schoenbeck received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Capital University, and a Master's degree from Ashland University.  He is currently teaching 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade Band as well as General Music course at Circleville Middle School as well as assisting the CHS Band throughout the year. Prior to his appointment at CMS, he served as Director of Bands at Circleville High School from 1998-2014 where the Concert Band and Marching Bands routinely earned Superior Ratings and qualified for OMEA State-Level Competitions. In 2011, The Circleville Concert Band earned its 2nd State Superior Rating in the program's history under his direction.  He is a member of the Ohio Music Education Association, National Association for Music Education, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

Ms. Melanie Williams is an alumnus of Circleville High School. At Circleville she was a 4 year member of the high school marching band and two year Color Guard Captain. Melanie received her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Wilmington College. She has been teaching 1st - 3rd grade for 15 years and is currently a 2nd grade teacher.
