The Instrumental Music Department consists of Middle School Concert Bands for grades 6-8, High School Concert Band for grades 9-12, Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Beginner Guitar Classes.
Concert Band
The Concert Band is the focus of the Circleville Instrumental Music Department. Rehearsing once daily during school hours for approximately 40 minutes, the Concert Band presents several yearly concerts and participates in the District XV Concert Band Contest and Concert Band State Finals. In recent years, the band has enjoyed successboth in district and finals competition.

Marching Band
The Circleville High School Marching Band performs at all football games, various community parades and events, and OMEA competitions throughout the fall. Performing repertoire from a variety of sources, including classical pieces, movie music, and everything between, the marching band is an opportunity for participating students to learn the art of coordination: performing music in motion. Students work tirelessly throughout the summer beginning in June, and work to clean and finalize the show until the beginning of November.

Jazz Band
The Jazz Band at Circleville is comprised of students in grades 9-12. The students rehearse for approximately 40 minutes once a day during school hours, and are exposed to a wide variety of repertoire, including jazz, Latin, swing, and big band standards. The Jazz Band performs in several concerts throughout the year. They also perform at home basketball games to cheer on the Tigers!
